BENTE UNION MEMBERS, please take note of the following updates:
RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION BONUS:
At last night’s Board meeting, BENTE reached an agreement with the Rochester City School District and the Board of Education to pay a recruitment and retention bonus to any member who has not previously received an incentive payment based on BENTE or RAP incentive MOAs signed in or after 2021, or anyone eligible to receive an incentive payment from New York State Health Care and Mental Hygiene Worker Bonus Program.
Eligible members that are employed at The District on June 1, 2024, will receive a bonus in the amount of $1000. Employees who receive the incentive will be required to work the entire 2024-25 school year, except for Catastrophic Illness, emergency circumstances, or members that are or become retirement eligible during the 2024-2025 school year.
NEGOTIATIONS:
We will be filing for contract negotiations in January 2024 and will be looking for recommendations that you would like us to bring up in negotiations. We will be sending out a survey; however, you can also feel free to email me at ange@bentelocal2419.org.
HOLIDAY GIFTS:
We will be coming around in the next few weeks delivering the holiday gifts.
