BENTE PICNIC:
Thanks to everyone who came out to the BENTE picnic last Friday evening. We had a great time with all of you at our last event of the year!
PUBLIC REFERENDUM:
Last night, City Council held a vote to hold a public referendum for a State takeover of City Schools. The vote would be non-binding and is a waste of time and money. We are working on educating the membership and the public as to why state takeover of city schools would be a bad idea on many levels. You will be receiving more information on the issue in the coming months.
DARIEN LAKE:
Union Family Weekend at Darien Lake will be on Saturday, July 20 or Sunday, July 21, 2019.
Tickets are $24 per person and that includes parking. Tickets can be purchased at the BENTE Union office at 1600 Lyell avenue. CASH ONLY!
