The United Auto Workers strike at General Motors is moving into its second week. Last week, General Motors gave in and resumed paying for striking workers health benefits. Our actions and those across the nation are winning the fight!
We need to keep the pressure on if our brothers and sisters at the United Auto Workers are going to win. This Wednesday, Oct. 2nd we will be joined on the picket line by members from many unions in the Central New York Area Labor Federation! We expect that we'll be joined by other labor activists from across the state on that day as well.
Working people in this country have never lost a fight when we've stayed united enough for long enough. So let's get out there and show GM what the labor movement looks like in Rochester!

WHERE: Near the Corner of Driving Park and Mt. Read Blvd (NOTE NEW LOCATION!)

Parking is available at UA Local 13, 1850 Mt. Read Blvd. and directly across from the Driving Park entrance of the General Motors plant.

2) You can give by texting UAWSupport to 41444.
3) You can send a check made out to 'United Way of Greater Rochester' with 'UAW Support in the for-line. Checks can be mailed to the United Way of Greater Rochester, 75 College Ave., Rochester, NY 14607.
